Holy hell it's been a long while since I've been on and jeez are the messages stacking up again ahaha ;v;
Whether or not people read this I have absolutely no idea on how many people are still keeping an eye on here
but for those who are still around hi, long time no see and thanks for sticking around!
Things have been busy, from theatre productions and stage managing to animation, university and unpacking
like crazy in our new house here in Sydney, I've barely been able to jump on and post things or casually
draw. Hope everything's well with everyone though!
So here's the deal. I'm not planning on shutting down this account just yet because who knows I might definitely
drop back in and post up or redraw some things. But here are a few things I can or can't confirm and would also
like update you on.
The Kydub Project
For starters, this is addressed to both the incredible cast as well as the community, but I've made the decision to put it on hold once again. I know when I took over the project, I had the full intention of finally getting it up on it's feet, but I'm seeing why it went on hold in the first place and most definitely understand the conflict between real life and projects such as this. With that being said I will say that I am putting production on hold, namely until I can find a few more editors to help lighten the load as well as get a proper production schedule put together. I'm sorry for all those who had expectations or hopes for the project, and for those who have been waiting patiently for activity but until everything can get into line, The Kydub Project will be put on hold.
I have no idea whether or not I can say it's happening ;v; The Nuzlocke community has been an incredible part in
helping me to meet some of the most incredible, fantastic and talented artists and individuals as well as kickstart me
on my desire to pursue an art career but in regards to the Nuzlocke I'm not sure whether it will ever happen. Namely due
to a lack of inspiration on story/plotbuilding as well as design work. There are still a few ideas here and there so who knows I might pick it up in a couple of years time but for now it's another thing on hold until I can figure it out.
Commissions & General Art StuffSo I may not have been active on D.A but I still have been drawing and studying and now pursuing a Bachelor of Media Arts
at the University of New South Wales here in Sydney! I've done a couple of exercises and animation work which I'd be all up for
posting up if anyone's actually interested in doing and I've now got around two weeks left until I finish up my first semester AAAA!
Stylistically I'm starting to adapt to a few now which I'm happy with as well as the occasional doodle shenanigans but when I've
finished my character designs for my first upcoming final Animation project for the semester I'll see if I can get them up here. I also have been intending to release commissions for a while now as well on another note! Since I kind of don't have a job
and need money for daily life generally ;v; So! If anyone is interested in commissioning me feel free to just shoot me a PM or comment below and let me know! Prices are completely negotiable right now since I have no clue what my art is worth but I'll eventually get up a commission page when I've got more finished works as examples ;v;
Real-life ShenanigansSO OTHER THAN ART STUFF I'M ALSO DOING TONS OF THEATRE STUFFF AAAA ;v; Just recently I was able to
become an executive member on a new society formed here at my uni called MTS (Musical Theatre Society) and we just
had our first musical ever a couple of weeks ago and it went BRILLIANTLY! The musical is called A Man of No Importance, adapted from the 1994 film version and the score and book is just beautifully composed and written (and I 100% recommend listening to the soundtrack). But from stage management to filling in singing at some rehearsals honestly I couldn't be happier to be doing something else that I love other than art. There's a heck lot more stuff that's happened which gods knows I might fill in eventually but till' then I think that's all I can say. Uni is brilliant as well yes.
TL;dr: Hi Steam is still around yes.
Thanks for sticking around as per always and sorry for the extremely long journal.
